Section 7.2 Tricky Grammar
Having covered some of the fundamental principles of grammar in the previous section, it’s time to level up! There are lots of English grammar topics that are tricky enough to merit a position in this section; however, the ones that you’ll learn about here made the cut because they’re not just tricky—they’re commonly relevant. Building on the fundamental rules of grammar from the previous section, you’ll get another layer of nuance in this section, which covers some of the challenges of ensuring subject-verb agreement, avoiding sentence fragments, using parallelism, and placing modifiers.
